Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is the treatment of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal injuries by a licensed Physical Therapist or a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. These professionals utilize evidence-based practice to provide patients with therapeutic interventions that include therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy that includes soft tissue massage, joint mobilization, spinal manipulation, and dry needling. They also use therapeutic modalities that include electric stimulation, ultrasound, dry needling with electrical stimulation, paraffin wax, and fluidotherapy. Our therapists always provide patient and family education as well as home exercise programs to improve their functional abilities and relieve pain.
