Physical Therapy

• Physical therapy is the treatment of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal injuries by a licensed Physical Therapist or a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. These professionals utilize evidence-based practice to provide patients with therapeutic interventions that include therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy that includes soft tissue massage, joint mobilization, spinal manipulation, and dry needling. They also use therapeutic modalities that include electric stimulation, ultrasound, dry needling with electrical stimulation, paraffin wax, and fluidotherapy. Our therapists always provide patient and family education as well as home exercise programs to improve their functional abilities and relieve pain.

Occupational Therapy

• Occupational therapists work with patients to regain their independence in activities of daily living, functional tasks, and work ability.  In this outpatient setting, our OTs work with patients who have sustained injuries to their upper extremity including shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. Occupational therapy plays a key role in restoring those essential abilities necessary to function independently.  Activities in our facility include fine motor coordination tasks, range of motion, desensitization techniques and strengthening exercises for the upper extremity to maximize patients’ outcomes.

Sports Medicine

Sports medicine focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries related to sports and exercise. Sports medicine professionals work with athletes of all ages and skill levels, from recreational enthusiasts to elite athletes, to optimize performance, prevent injuries, and promote overall health and well-being.
